I promised the kids that I would host a Valentine’s Day party for them this year. Since this is our first year Homeschooling, I knew that the girls were going to miss the classroom Valentine exchange. So as I planned an adorable Valentine’s Day party at our home for all our new homeschool friends, I was also trying to come up with valentine ideas for them to pass out. I was so focused on the girls and their valentines that I woke up in a cold sweat one night thinking “Duncan! He is going to want to pass out valentine’s too”. Duncan is finally to an age where he is old enough that he wants to participate in everything. So in the middle of the night, I searched the internet and came up with a really cute Valentine idea. Here is how to recreate my Zip Zip Hooray Valentine for the kids.
When it comes to holidays, I always try to come up with ideas that are non-candy related. I feel like they will get plenty of sugar and treats, why do I need to add to that. So I scoured the internet for non-candy ideas for Valentines day. I came across these adorable fidget bracelets that look like zippers. Apparently, they are “a thing” with the kids. I decided to center my Valentine’s around these cute bracelets.
I designed Valentines that read “Zip Zip Hooray, Happy Valentine’s Day”. They turned out so cute. All you have to do is print them on cardstock. Cut them out and use a hole punch to make holes to slip the bracelets through.
