One of our favorite things to do for Christmas is make treats for our neighbors and friends. We have a lot of tried-and-true recipes like puppy chow and sugar cookies. This year the kids made these adorable Snow Globe Cookies. They were too cute not to share with y’all, and almost too cute to eat. I love this treat because it a NO-Bake recipe that is really easy for kids to do on their own. I love that they can get creative and do the steps all by themselves.
How to Make Snow Globe Treats
What you need:
- Oreo Cookies
- White Chocolate Reese’s Cups
- Sprinkles
- Icing (any color) or Melted Chocolate
- Sugar Cookie Decorations
To make your snow globes, cover one side of your Oreo cookie with icing or chocolate. Decorate your snow globe however you would like. We used little sugar gingerbread houses, stars, candy canes and Christmas trees. You can find these in the cookie decorating section. We then added sprinkles for that falling snow affect. Crushed up cany canes are fun to use too! One the front of your snow globe is decorated and dried you can use a little bit of icing/chocolate to attach the bottom of your snow globe. Just sit the edge of your cookie onto the bottom side of a Reese’s cup. Ta Da!
We wrapped ours up in clear bags and handed them out to neighbors. Everyone went wild over them!
