If you’ve been around for a while, you know that I am always coming up with unique and fun ways to gift. It is one of my favorite things to do. Keep reading below to see some of the cute ideas we’ve done over the years. I wish I could take credit for this adorable idea, but I can’t.
A few years ago, a neighbor dropped this gift off at our house for Christmas and I thought it was THE CUTEST (and yummiest) thing ever. I loved how unexpected it was. Usually, people gift cookies and baked goods or booze. But THIS was something that the entire family could enjoy, and BOY WAS IT DELICIOUS! Fast forward a few years later (to today) and this gift popped into my head for a hostess gift for a Christmas party I’m going to this week. So, I immediately texted my friend for her dip recipe, created a little WHIM to go with the handmade gift and decided to throw it on the blog so everyone can be inspired by it too! TAG ME on Instagram @projectwhim if you try anything from the blog! I love to see and share!

How to make a Mele Kalikimaka Christmas Gift for Friends, Teachers and Neighbors.
What you need:
- 1 Pineapple (I got mine at Costco)
- Cute gift tag (CLICK HERE for my favorites)
- 1 container of coolwhip
- 1 small box of Vanilla Pudding Mix
- Cream of Coconut
- Ribbon
- Small container for the dip ( I found mine at the dollar store)
Take your pineapple, ribbon and gift tag and tie the tag to the pineapple. This alone would make a cute gift for a teacher or hostess. BUT I highly, highly recommend you make and add this amazing dip to complete it. You will have a large amount of dip so you can separate it into multiple containers for multiple gifts.
Dip Recipe:
Mix the Container of Cool Whip and Vanilla Pudding Mix together. Add Cream of Coconut until you reach the desired consistency. My mouth is watering just typing this. This is your warning, you will have EVERYONE asking for the recipe!
Isn’t that the CUTEST gift EVER!? If you love this Tropical Vibe Christmas Gift and wanted to go ALL IN, you could make a gift basket with this and include a cute beach towel, a bag of macadamia nuts, sunglasses and sunblock. It is never too early to start daydreaming of sunshine and sandy beaches.
