Perfect Gift Idea for Teacher Appreciation or Mother’s Day
Over the years I’ve polled teachers to find out what their favorite gifts from their students are. Overwhelmingly, they say a sweet note or a handmade picture is the best. I agree! A thoughtful gift doesn’t have to cost any money. So this year we decided to show our appreciation to our teachers one day with giving them these handmade paper flower crafts. This DIY is super simple and great for the littlest of kids.
This would make a great handmade Mother’s Day gift for Mom or Grandma too!
Here is how to make DIY Paper Flowers
- Pencil
- Paper
- Scissors
- Favorite things to color with. (Paint, Crayons, Pens)
- Tape
- Small Pot
On a piece of paper draw the outline of a flower and leaf. Let the kids color them in however they would like. Cut the flower out. Then tape the flower and leaf to the pencil. Stick the pencil into a small pot! Fun + Free + Full of Love!
