How to make Disco Balls
To start, I would begin by cutting up your silver squares. You can use tin foil or silver paper for this, and you want to cut them into small squares. Doing this prep first will make it really easy for kids to assemble their disco ball.
To make your disco ball, you want to begin with tracing your paper plate onto a piece of plain paper. You will cut out this circle. Then with a glue stick, glue your silver squares to your circle. Once your circle is covered in pretty silver squares you want to attach the circle to the BACK of your paper plate. This will make it look rounder. You can glue your circle onto the paper plate, but we found it easier to staple it.
Repeat to make a second side. Once you have two you can staple the two together to make a “ball”!
The kids really enjoyed this craft. They are super fun and shiny and would be really cute hanging for New Year’s Eve!
