There is a day in Motherhood we have all heard about. We expect it to come when we have children, but when it happens its always a surprise. The day your child cuts their own hair. Of course it always happens at the most convenient time…like before a big event. For us, my daughter decided to give herself bangs just 2 days before the first day of school. Yup, that is 5 days before school pictures. There was nothing I could do to make those bangs grow out in 5 days, so we ended up braiding them back and praying for the best.

I decided to make a DIY Mermaid Spray for her hair to help it grow quickly and healthy. Since we have been making the switch to non toxic products in our home I reached for my trusty essential oils to make this blend.

Mermaid Spray
Add everything to a spray bottle. Shake to mix and spray on hair in the morning and evening. It smells AMAZING and will help your hair grow healthy, strong and fast.
