It’s starting to feel like Summer and the end of the school year is drawing near. What better way to kick of Summer Break than with all things Ice Cream? Whether you are hosting an Ice Cream Social or creating a fun Ice Cream Themed Teacher’s Gift, these easy and adorable DIY Ice Cream Cone Sleeves with definitely bring it to the next level.
Here is how to make these simple Ice Cream Cone Holders.
What you need:
- Fun Craft Paper
- Scissors
- Washi Tape
- Ice Cream Cones
Simply create a template in the shape above. I suggest making one out of plain white paper so you don’t waste your cute craft paper. Once you have created the perfect template use it to create a bunch of ice cream cone sleeves. Gently wrap around your ice cream cone and secure with a piece of washi tape.
How simple was that? I love the idea of using a bunch of different patterns and colors for an Ice Cream Party. The best part is you can cut and store a bunch for the Summer time so when a neighborhood friend swings by or you want to add some WHIM to an afternoon treat for the kids all you have to do is wrap the cone. It instantly takes a plain ice cream cone and turns it into a magical and memorable Summer treat.
But what I am dying to know is…what is your favorite way to dress your ice cream cone? Are you a plain jane? Chocolate Lover? Sprinkle Obsessed? Let me know in the comments below!
