Teacher Appreciation Gift Basket
Teachers are amazing and this week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We wanted to make the girls teachers feel really special this year, especially with the odd circumstances we are in with the Remote Learning. Since I’m Room Mom for Evie’s class and we are all “stuck at home” we decided to Ding Dong Ditch Evie’s teacher. I set up times all throughout the week for the students to surprise her at her door step with gifts, pictures, flowers, cards whatever they wanted to do to show their appreciation for all her hard work. I’m sure I’ll never get asked to be Room Mom again after this stunt. haha (Don’t worry, I asked permission to give out her address to the other parents first)
Here is what Evie and I came up with as our gift idea!

Thanks for being a PIZZA my life!
Since teachers can’t go out to their favorite restaurants and we are staying at home looking for things to do, we decided to surprise her with a Fun Pizza Dinner Night. We wrapped up all the necessities for having a pizza party at home. Who doesn’t love making their own pizza, especially with the whole family? Here is what we included:
- A Pizza Crust
- Jar of Pizza Sauce
- Parmesan Cheese
- A Bottle of Wine / A Bottle of Italian Spring Water
- Pizza Cutter
- Cute Dish Towel
- Cute Bowl
- Olive Oil Dispenser
- Garlic Herb and Spices Container
- Fresh sprig of Rosemary straight from our garden
- A picture of Evie in the garden and a little note sharing our appreciation
This turned out to be such a great gift idea for a teacher, but it would also be great as a housewarming gift or gift for a friend/neighbor.
You could add breadsticks and chocolate or more perishable items like a salad kit and pepperonis.
